Bauhausmaschine in Siena
On March 20th the Bauhaus23 Exhibition is opening in Siena. Curator Norbert Korrek comissioned Bauhausmaschine to create a live audiovisual installation for the opening reception. Bauhausmaschine Artists Marc Sauter and Stefan Kraus perform an audiovisual remix inspired by the carpet in Walter Gropius office at the Bauhaus in Weimar.

Nach zweijähriger Sanierung wurde am 5. Februar 2010 das Kunstschulgebäude des belgischen Architekten Henry van de Velde (VDV) in einem feierlichen Akt vom Freistaat Thüringen an die Bauhaus-Universität Weimar übergeben. Beim Thüringer Innovationspreis
Am 8. Dezember 2009 wurde in der Messe Erfurt der 12. Thüringer Innovationspreis verliehen. Die Stiftung für Technologie, Innovation und Forschung Thüringen (STIFT) beauftragte die Bauhausmaschine mit der Gestaltung und Durchführung der Videoshow anlässlich der Preisverleihung.
Ein Brausen von Oben
Die Fassade der Kirche wurde von HP Großmann und Canan Yilmaz mit großformatigen Diaprojektionen von Astwerk erleuchtet. Die außen positionierten Scheinwerfer erleuchteten die Kirche Innen mit “künstlichem Tageslicht” Die Elemente des Altars hatten die Künstler für die Performance als Leuchtobjekte herausgearbeitet. Die Bauhaus Maschine ist eine mobile Ausstellungsperformance, die im Laufe des „Bauhaus Jahres 2009“ kontinuierlich wachsen wird. Die audiovisuelle Collage zeichnet das „Bauhaus in den Köpfen“ nach – die einzigartige Wirkungsgeschichte der einflussreichsten Designschule des 20ten Jahrhunderts. Die Installation passt sich dem bespielten Raum an und sammelt während der Ausstellung neues Material.
